CISA is conducting enhanced coordination with federal partners, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), to identify additional threats and determine mitigation actions.<\/p>\n<p>To defend against similar malicious activity that misuses legitimate endpoint management software, CISA urges organizations to implement Microsoft\u2019s newly released\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcommunity.microsoft.com\/blog\/intunecustomersuccess\/best-practices-for-securing-microsoft-intune\/4502117\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best practices for securing Microsoft Intune<\/a>; the principles of these recommendations can be applied to Intune and more broadly to other endpoint management software:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use principles of least privilege when designing administrative roles.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) and privileged access hygiene.<\/li>\n<li>Configure access policies to require\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/intune\/intune-service\/fundamentals\/multi-admin-approval\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Multi Admin Approval in Microsoft Intune<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Source: CISA<\/p>\n<p><em>If you enjoyed this article, please consider <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/intelligencecommunitynews.com\/subscribe\/\"><em>becoming a paid subscriber<\/em><\/a><em>.
