On May 13, Reveal Technology, Inc. announced that its Identifi system has been formally adopted as a Program of Record by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)—a major milestone in the modernization of identity intelligence at the tactical edge.

Built for the realities of modern operations, Identifi enables Special Operations Forces to verify identities and assess threats securely and instantly entirely on-device, without network dependency. The system fuses multiple biometric modalities into a compact, rugged platform designed to perform when and where other technologies cannot.

“This milestone represents years of partnership with Special Operations Forces to deliver technology that works when and where they need it most,” said Garrett Smith, CEO of Reveal Technology. “Identifi gives operators the power to make faster, more confident decisions in the field and strengthens the safety of every mission it supports.”

Developed hand-in-hand with the SOF user community and the USSOCOM program office, Identifi reflects an operator-first design philosophy: fast to learn, resilient under pressure, and built for the tempo of real-world missions. The system integrates seamlessly into existing Special Operations workflows, delivering the speed, security, and interoperability required for modern identity intelligence operations.

“Becoming a Program of Record validates the trust SOCOM has placed in our team and technology,” said Noëlle Tuss, director of defense strategy at Reveal. “Identifi ensures that biometric identification and verification remain accessible, secure, and mission-ready across the spectrum of operations.”

On January 29, Reveal Technology announced the acquisition of Anomaly Six (A6), a multi-domain digital intelligence company. The acquisition strengthens Reveal’s operator-focused intelligence capabilities, by integrating A6’s global location and behavioral-pattern solutions with Reveal’s autonomous tactical ecosystem. Unifying these intelligence streams gives warfighters at the tactical edge complete, real-time insight where and when it’s needed most.

Anomaly Six brings a mature suite of commercially derived intelligence tools used to map global digital activity, understand connectivity networks, and analyze operational behaviors.  These capabilities directly complement Reveal’s Farsight geospatial platform and Identifi human terrain solution, allowing operators to correlate physical location data with behavioral patterns and network relationships in real time. Together, the companies are delivering one of the few platforms purpose-built for the tactical edge, unifying physical, human, and digital terrain into a single operational capability.

“This acquisition reinforces our vision to position Reveal as the rare intelligence provider delivering layered, tactically-relevant intelligence at the point of decision,” said Garrett Smith, chief executive officer and co-founder of Reveal Technology. “We take very seriously the needs of tactical decision makers, and they need our depth across intelligence, autonomy, and decision-support capabilities, at the speed of tactical relevance.  By integrating Anomaly Six’s intelligence capabilities with Reveal’s other products – Farsight and Identifi – we’re establishing Reveal as the digital arms room for the modern warrior across all tactical intelligence domains.”

Led by teams with deep military and intelligence experience, both veteran-founded companies understand how intelligence is operationalized. As global threats evolve, the acquisition unifies previously disconnected intelligence streams into a single environment, enabling faster decisions and eliminating the friction of complex integrations.

“Seven years ago, we founded Anomaly Six with a singular focus on solving complex global defense and intelligence challenges through best-in-class commercial capabilities,” said Jeff Heinz, co-founder of Anomaly Six. “By joining forces with Reveal Technology, we are not only sustaining commitment to our partners in the defense, intelligence, and commercial communities, but also accelerating our ability to deliver. This partnership allows us to combine our capabilities into a broader ecosystem allowing us to put mission-critical information directly into the hands of the warfighter and those operating at the tactical edge.”

Military tactical teams’ ability to quickly produce accurate maps of areas targeted for military operations can mean the difference between mission success or failure. Meeting this need, Reveal Technology has teamed with Teal Drones – a division of Red Cat Holdings – to enhance Reveal’s “Farsight” mapping software by automatically combining imagery from multiple unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to produce high-fidelity 3D maps, the companies announced August 18. By dramatically increasing the speed of collection, users receive Farsight maps and analytics faster than ever. The groundbreaking technology was recently successfully demonstrated to U.S. Army Special Operations Command near Fort Bragg.

“Farsight already significantly sped up the rate at which aerial imagery could be used to help teams more safely and effectively carry out their missions,” said Reveal COO Andrew Dixon. “Simultaneously gathering data from multiple drones, such as using Teal’s 4-Ship multi-drone system, compounds this for significant intelligence advantages on the battlefield.”

Prior to Farsight, military teams in the field were often dependent on overtasked and often separate intelligence organizations, which resulted in slow-moving intelligence analysis that did not match the fast-paced environment on the ground. Farsight helps overcome this issue by blending state-of-the-art computer vision, AI and computing “at the edge” – computing in the field on handheld devices. Because all processing for Farsight is completed at the edge, no network connection is required, which eliminates the need for additional processing capabilities like servers or cloud infrastructure. This not only speeds up the entire process, but allows the creation of detailed, actionable maps from virtually anywhere on the globe. And, especially importantly, computing at the edge does not increase the team’s electronic signature to the enemy, which, as seen in Ukraine, could attract artillery fire, among other responses.

“A primary role of Teal Drones – which is one of only a handful of drone companies approved to provide equipment to the U.S. military – is to provide a superior airframe upon which others build apps that allow the military to better meet their objectives, including warfighter safety mitigation,” said Red Cat CEO Jeff Thompson. “This integration of Reveal’s Farsight software with Teal’s 4-Ship product is one of the most important apps that has been developed for the Golden Eagle so far. We are excited about our partnership with Reveal and look forward to even more groundbreaking developments in the future.”

“What sets Teal and Red Cat apart – and an important reason why we are excited to be working with them – is their demonstrated ability to build and ship product,” added Dixon. “Because Teal has a dedicated manufacturing facility in the U.S., they can make good on their promise to deliver product to the military on-time, which is an enormous advantage in today’s drone industry, and means that our technology is much more likely to get to users on the front lines when they need it.”
