AFLCMC’s Command and Control Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) Division requires site support functions and logistics sustainment necessary to maintain capabilities for Global Network Systems. Through this requirement, the Government is seeking individuals with strong background and experience with algorithm management.

These individuals must be able to perform higher integration and orchestration functions in the management and oversight of the architecture, its systems and programs. They must also possess an exceptional understanding of the fundamental principles of algorithm invocation and workflows for processing against geospatial imagery and integrating algorithm marketplace systems with existing complex geospatial processing capabilities.

Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI by providing a company capability statement pertaining to relevant areas of expertise, including (but not limited to:

• GEOINT AI/ML Algorithm Orchestration Framework
• GEOINT AI/ML Exploitation Applications
• GEOINT AI/ML Algorithm Storefront & Repository Integration

Only prime contractors shall complete a capability statement; however, prime contractors are able to include information provided by their subcontractors in their response.

The U.S. Air Force is one of the military branches that participates in the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), an interagency committee that reviews transactions involving foreign investment in the United States to assess their potential impact on national security.

Under the $454.9 million contract, Leidos will work with Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to transform the Air Force’s multi-cloud environment. The improvements are designed to boost security, increase automation and simplify day-to-day operations, all while helping reduce costs and enabling Air Force teams to manage cloud operations faster and with greater confidence, making it easier for more units to adopt and scale cloud services.

“Modernizing Cloud One helps the Air Force deploy mission-critical operations faster and defend them more effectively,” said Steve Hull, president of Leidos’ digital modernization. “It also creates a secure, repeatable cloud foundation that other Department of War organizations can adopt, helping to remove barriers to cloud adoption and enabling teams to move faster and more securely to help meet mission demands and maintain a strategic edge.”

By streamlining cloud processes and reducing complexity, the program is intended to accelerate cloud adoption across Air Force units worldwide, making it easier for them to move applications to the cloud, while strengthening cyber defenses and enhancing mission readiness.

AFLCMC/WISN is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing a reliable navigation system for operations in Global Positioning System (GPS)/ Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) degraded or denied environments.

The required capability is a compact electronic navigation system that integrates supplemental sensors, such as magnetic, inertial, gravity, visual, celestial, radar/lidar, ground signals of opportunity, terrain, local timing, quantum and atomic clock’s ability to synchronize, pulsar/celestial time synchronization, improved/accurate reference maps. The system must be versatile for use on aircraft, land vehicles, maritime platforms, and man-portable applications. The system must provide precise location data compatible with the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) for real-time situational awareness and mission planning. The system must provide continuous location tracking, even in the absence of GPS/GNSS.

The USAF Life Cycle Management Center, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Tactical Air Control Party Modernization (TACP-M) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of enabling TACP Core Computers with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Dual Data at Rest (DAR) capabilities.

Currently, TACP Core Computers that have accessed classified networks retain a classified status, creating logistical and operational security concerns during travel and field operations. This modification will allow these computers to ensure classified Data at Rest is properly sanitized, enabling the computers to be considered unclassified when powered off or logged out, mitigating these risks and enhancing operational security. This will be achieved through a minimum hardware update to the hard drives (to support full disk encryption) and a software update.
