IMPRES 112IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc., of Santa Fe Springs, CA announced on December 8 the launch of their Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG), a new business unit focusing on delivering enterprise-level architecture and systems management within the cybersecurity, big data, and Cloud/VDI market.

The newly formed division will enhance IMPRES’ capabilities to tailor a solution across various criteria, including legacy compatibility, lifecycle management, system integration, and training. Members of the ESG have focused specializations that allow each facet of the architecture to be scrutinized to provide an ideal solution.

IMPRES has named Sebastian Shahvandi, Vice President and General Manager; and Robert Osborne, Chief Technologist, as Co-Leads of the division. “The creation of the ESG Division is a strategic investment that will enable IMPRES to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and our customer’s requirements,” remarked Richard Fu, President/CEO. “With Sebastian and Robert sharing our vision, the addition of their collective knowledge of the IT industry is a testament to the boundless possibilities they can provide our customers.”

Sebastian Shahvandi – Vice President, General Manager
Prior to joining IMPRES, as Dell’s Senior Director of Marketing & Sales for their Federal Software Group, Sebastian Shahvandi successfully increased revenue and profitability of the group and earned theMichael Dell Award, given to the top 1% of the company. He holds an Executive MBA from Baylor University.

Robert Osborne – Chief Technologist
Prior to joining IMPRES, Robert has held numerous key positions with United Airlines, IBM, Microsoft, and Dell. Robert began his IT career as an enlisted officer in the United States Army. His specialties now include cybersecurity, analytics, artificial intelligence, programming, engineering, architecture and applying those back to business solutions. Robert holds degrees from Morehead State University,Westminster College, and Western Kentucky University.

IMPRES 112Veteran Information Technology (VIT), a joint venture between Colorado Springs, CO-based Veteran Engineering and Technology (VET) and Santa Fe Springs, CA-based IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc. announced on May 19 that it has been awarded a Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contract.

VIT combines the individual resources of both companies. IMPRES has forged a vast ecosystem of OEMs and distributors; garnered concrete relationships with numerous federal agencies, all branches of the Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community; while maintaining customer satisfaction through their ISO 9001 quality system, and CPARS ratings. VET has developed 12 years of experience in systems engineering, support services, and technical management.

Managed by NASA, SEWP V is a multi-award, Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) focused on information technology products and services to all federal departments. This 10-year, $20B contract supplies a vast catalog of Information Technology products, such as desktops, tablets, and servers; networking equipment; storage systems; cloud services; and video teleconferencing solutions.

It stabilizes and expands our business base, provides growth for our current employees, and provides potential to expand here in Colorado Springs and Southern California,” stated Norm Anderson, President/CEO of Veteran Information and Technology. IMPRES 112United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) selected IMPRES Technology Solutions  to procure, install, configure, and manage a new wireless initiative within their Springfield, Virginia complex, the Santa Fe Springs, CA-based company announced March 17.

IMPRES’ team provided Wireless LAN Architectural Design, Implementation, Comprehensive Test, and Configuration Support Plans, as well as a detailed Installation Plan to rollout the Wireless Access Points (WAP) solution. IMPRES also coordinated all labor, equipment, and supplies to deploy all deliverables on-time.

Upon project completion, IMPRES provided thorough knowledge transfer to all relevant stakeholders within the CBP. “This project shows IMPRES’ turn-key portfolio of best-of-breed product offerings and expert professional services,” commented Steve Ridgeway, Vice President of Sales. He added, “DHS and the FirstSource II contract are very important to IMPRES and we will continue to provide this exceptional service throughout the life of the contract.”

IMPRES currently holds both a Small Business and 8(a) contract for DHS’ IDIQ FirstSource II contract.

IMPRES 112The United States Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency selected IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc. to upgrade elements of the DHS Stennis Data Center (DC-1) facility, the Santa Fe Springs-based company announced March 3. Using the latest in VCE vBlock architecture, IMPRES’ team deployed the initial phase of 32 Cisco UCS server blades and over 400TB of EMC/VNX storage, housed in a three-rack enclave, within the secure facility.

“This contract not only highlights IMPRES’ diverse reach into complex technology installations, but to our commitment to the DHS and the FirstSource II contract to provide the best products, the best service, at the best value,” commented Steve Ridgeway, Vice President of Federal Sales.

IMPRES continues to perform on various other task orders for CBP as well as other DHS sub-agencies.
