Second Front Systems (2F) announced on May 19 an expanded partnership with DAF CLOUDworks to deploy its Game Warden platform across DAF CLOUDworks’ Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret infrastructure environments, strengthening how mission-critical commercial software is securely delivered, authorized, and sustained across some of the government’s most sensitive operational environments.

Together, Second Front and DAF CLOUDworks are establishing a scalable, secure pathway for the Department of War (DoW) and the Intelligence Community (IC) to rapidly operationalize commercial software across classified and unclassified environments. By integrating Game Warden into DAF CLOUDworks’ infrastructure, the partnership enables software to move more efficiently across mission environments without restarting security and deployment processes from scratch. This helps reduce infrastructure duplication, lower operational burden on technical security teams, and accelerate the delivery of critical capabilities to the field.

“Mission advantage depends on speed, trust, and the ability to move software into the environments where it is needed without unnecessary friction,” said Mamie Cruse, chief mission officer at Second Front. “Our partnership with DAF CLOUDworks strengthens how the DoW and IC can securely operationalize commercial software across classified and unclassified environments with greater speed and consistency. This is about accelerating how critical capabilities move from innovation to mission use.”

As software becomes increasingly central to mission execution, trusted pathways for secure software delivery are essential to ensuring operators can access critical capabilities where and when they are needed. This partnership reflects a shared commitment between Second Front and DAF CLOUDworks to modernize how software moves across regulated mission environments and reduce the friction that slows operational capability from reaching users.

“Deploying 2F Game Warden across DAF CLOUDworks’ unclassified and classified environments strengthens how we deliver secure, mission-ready software to the enterprise,” said Andrew Vanderhoof, director of DAF CLOUDworks. “Through this partnership, we are creating a repeatable approach for integrating commercial applications that improves speed, consistency, and scalability while helping the DoW and IC more effectively operationalize innovation. Game Warden enables us to bring these technologies into secure environments faster while reducing friction for government teams responsible for software delivery.”

On September 25, Second Front Systems (2F)  announced the successful deployment of Millabs’ analytical tools into the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), through 2F Game Warden. This milestone makes Millabs’ advanced tools available to the warfighting and intelligence communities, accelerating the fusion of commercial and government data to drive faster, better-informed mission decisions.

Historically, deploying commercial software into Top Secret environments, such as JWICS, has required years of repetitive security assessments, duplicative paperwork, and custom one-off integrations—an exhausting process that drains resources, delays innovation, and often prevents critical tools from reaching end-users. By leveraging Game Warden’s pre-authorized platform, Millabs was able to inherit robust security controls and accelerate deployment into JWICS. They deployed far faster than traditional paths—removing barriers and putting advanced capabilities directly into the hands of operators when they’re needed most.

“Game Warden proves that getting commercial innovation into classified environments is not only possible, but repeatable,” said Mamie Cruse, EVP of mission success at Second Front. “With Millabs now live on JWICS, analysts have secure, rapid access to the modern tools they need to make smarter, faster decisions—and we’re excited to continue delivering these outcomes at scale.”

“At Millabs, our mission has always been to bridge commercial and government capabilities—strengthening warfighter lethality and ensuring decision makers have the confidence and quality of information they need,” said Robert Burckner, president of Millabs. “By partnering with Second Front, we were able to navigate the government’s stringent compliance requirements with ease, freeing us to focus on delivering our core services. Compared to traditional pathways, Game Warden significantly reduced operating costs and accelerated capability delivery. Its trusted security framework allows us to continuously provide our tools to customers, seamlessly integrating new capabilities across multiple information environments—including JWICS—so we can deliver impact where and when it matters most.”

On October 21, Salesforce announced Government Cloud Premium, a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering with Top Secret authorization from the U.S. Government that makes the Salesforce Platform available for Top Secret use cases. Government Cloud Premium provides U.S. national security and intelligence organizations with a dedicated environment for no-code, low-code and pro-code application development, workflow automation, and API-first architecture for easily integrating  government systems and tools. And, since it is API-first architected, the underlying data model and applications are extensible, so agencies can take advantage of other data and systems – including proprietary  artificial intelligence (AI) applications – to advance the mission.

Legacy systems cannot provide the speed, scale, and application development agility required to preserve decision and intelligence advantages. A recent case study from the U.S. Department of Defense found that legacy systems can take years to adapt to mission needs. In order to maintain operational advantages amid an increasingly dynamic and complex world, U.S. national security and intelligence agencies need the flexibility to respond quickly to evolving mission needs.

Hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Top Secret cloud – a dedicated cloud infrastructure accredited to operate Top Secret Workloads – Government Cloud Premium helps agencies enhance information sharing, gain mission-critical data insights, and speed up operations while helping meet the highest standards of security and compliance. Government Cloud Premium will provide intelligence agencies with a strategic advantage.

“The work of our national security and intelligence communities could not be more important, and we are deeply committed to ensuring they have the tools they need to drive mission success. With Government Cloud Premium, U.S. national security and intelligence customers can now transform operations and move at mission speed with reliable, secure, and compliant capabilities,” said Bill Pessin, senior vice president, Salesforce National Security.
