The C5ISR Center is hosting an engagement event open to all of industry, for the purpose of providing two-way collaboration on current and future technologies.

1. Who: The intended audience includes active and prospective industry partners. No media will be invited to attend.
2. When/Where: The two-day event is Tuesday 25 August – Wednesday 26 August. It will be held fully in-person at Aberdeen Proving Ground, in both the Myer Auditorium and the APG Recreation Center gymnasium.
3. Purpose: The Army has been undergoing significant change over the last year focused heavily on increasing the speed with which capabilities are delivered to Soldiers and reducing bureaucratic challenges along the way. Through ongoing Continuous Transformation and Acquisition Reform, paired with strategic organizational realignments for Forge Generation, Force Development and Force Design, the Army is adapting faster than ever to sustain asymmetric advantage and remain resilient against emerging threats. A key tenet to the success of these efforts is the close partnership and collaboration with the Army’s industrial base. This year’s Industry Expo will offer insights to critical science and technology (S&T) efforts across the Center’s core competencies and aid industry in identifying how to best invest internal research and development (IR&D) funds supporting these activities.
4. Format: The event will utilize a dual approach in delivery. The C5ISR Center will present key S&T efforts and investment / technology thrust areas through panels and slide presentations (day one) and then transition to a symposium-style format (day two) with booths representing technology areas across the Center to facilitate a two-way dialogue.

The Army C5ISR Center is interested in identifying industry antenna technologies that can allow tactical radios the flexibility to transmit across the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) for purposes of avoiding congestion and contention.

Tactical vehicles integrate various omni directional antenna solutions that provide both a high physical and electromagnetic signature. Tactical radios are configured to transmit at pre-programmed frequencies (presets) and are limited to these frequencies when maneuvering across the EMS.

C5ISR Center is seeking information from companies offering solutions that leverage advancement in frequency sensing capabilities to automatically up or down convert legacy radios transmit frequency across the EMS to avoid RF congestion and/or contention. A frequency sensing capability should be integrated in a multi-band software-defined antenna that can support various frequencies across the EMS, waveform types, and multiple radio inputs. The information from companies can be a combination of all the desired elements or a subset of the desired elements.

The C5ISR Center in collaboration with Department of Navy Operational Energy and the Army Operational Energy Offices are hosting an engagement event open to all of industry, for the purpose of providing two-way collaboration for successful fielding and system integration of current and future battery and battery-powered technologies.

1.  Who: The intended audience includes active and prospective industry partners that develop or use battery technologies in DoD systems as well as DoD program offices. No media will be invited to attend.
2.  When/Where: The one-day event is Wednesday 13 August 2025. It will be held in-person at Aberdeen Proving Ground (preference) with hybrid option, in both the Mallette Auditorium (Building 6008) and on MS Teams.
3.  Purpose: The event will focus on communicating: Army and DON battery demand drivers; existing and developing DoD battery standards; DoD lithium battery safety thresholds; and safety mitigation solutions such as the Lithium Battery Facility or various containers and enclosures.  Discussion will include how the Army, Navy and USMC will use batteries to power emerging DoD technology priorities (such as unmanned aerial systems and shipboard hybrid propulsion), and where the Army and DON are headed in battery development and integration.  Discussion will also solicit input from industry on role of government in standardization of power systems and status of supply chain risk. The intent is to remain technology-focused and not tied to any specific acquisition or contract action(s). The two-way exchange will aid industry in identifying how best to invest internal research and development funds (IR&D), and communicate innovative solutions already being explored by the DoD or industry.  The discussions held will focus on technologies that will support Army and DON Operational Energy priorities and warfighting capabilities.
4.  Format: The event will utilize a dual approach in delivery with the morning session being open to approved APG visitors and the afternoon session reserved for government organizational partners and government employees. OSD, Army, and Navy will present investment areas and technology areas worth industry exploration and partnership.

For this RFI, the U.S. Army C5ISR Center, Engineering & Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate is interested in receiving information from companies that have solutions to integrate concepts of the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) Zero Trust (ZT) capabilities, which are focused on the Data Pillar of the DoD ZT model (specifically on incorporation of data protection into tactical network architectures).

The solutions should integrate seamlessly into our existing infrastructure while providing enhanced security for data in use protections against potential threats and vulnerabilities, and need to operate within a denied, degraded, intermittent, or limited (DDIL) contested communications, logistics, and information environment. This constrained, highly dynamic, and adversarial-susceptible tactical environment will be a challenge to implement ZT solutions that meet mission needs.

Traditional network security models, which provide entities with implicit trust once inside the perimeter, are increasingly inadequate given the sophisticated nature of modern cyber threats. To address these challenges, ZT as a concept has gained prominence. ZT operates on the principle of “never trust, always verify,” emphasizing continuous risk assessment and real-time monitoring to ensure access to network resources is based on up-to-date information, and that trustworthiness is continually reevaluated.

Our goal is to identify cutting-edge technologies that can offer robust security measures for data in use protections. This includes, but is not limited to, leveraging advancements in encryption, anomaly detection, and secure communication protocols to protect against both current and emerging threats.

The U.S. Army C5ISR Center is surveying the market to locate/identify interested Business Concerns. The U.S. Army C5ISR Center, Engineering & Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate is seeking information from companies on how they can assist in running and managing large, complex networks for effective defensive cybersecurity operations (DCO). Specifically, the center is interested in understanding industry partners’ vision for the roles and responsibilities of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC), as well as the role of a managed service provider (MSP) in the process of providing DCO. This approach aims to enhance the center’s ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate cybersecurity threats as they arise at the speed of cyber.

Specialized network management is critical to DCO because it ensures that complex and expansive networks are accurately monitored and maintained. By understanding the details of network activities, organizations can proactively identify vulnerabilities and respond to potential threats more efficiently. This specialization allows for the implementation of advanced security measures, continuous monitoring, and rapid incident response, which are essential in protecting sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of the network.

The roles and responsibilities of NOC, SOC and MSP are distinct yet complementary. The NOC focuses on ensuring the optimal performance and availability of the network, managing infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime. In contrast, the SOC is dedicated to protecting the organization from cybersecurity threats by monitoring for security incidents, responding to threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. Nowadays, it seems like many organizations are increasingly integrating their NOC and SOC to manage large networks and utilize automated SOAR capabilities in response to cyber threats.

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is designed to improve security within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). It is a set of standards that companies must follow to protect sensitive information from cyber threats. All companies are assessed by third parties to ensure they meet these standards. Noticed that DoD now requires an organization to have at least a level 3 certification before it can receive Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in any domain.
